Meet Gamma Pi
A letter from our President:
Welcome and thank you for your interest in Gamma Phi Beta! In 1966, the Gamma Pi Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta was blessed with the honor of making a home at Minnesota State University, Mankato. We have shared 50 years of leadership development, educational programming, personal support, and the joys of sisterhood. Our members before us have created a foundation that will always be stable, no matter what life throws our way. The bond among us will never be broken.
I signed up for recruitment my freshman year in hopes of meeting new people, gaining leadership roles, and furthering my campus involvement. The anticipation of recruitment weekend filled my body with nerves. However, I soon found those nerves to vanish. When I stepped foot into the room of Gamma Phi Beta, I knew that I found my forever home. From that moment forward, I have never looked back. I gained a spot in a bond of sisterhood that is so strong and cherished by each member. Through my time in Gamma Phi Beta, I have made my best friends, given back to my community, excelled in academics, and became a leader of the Greek community. None of which would be possible without the guidance, support, inspiration, and love of my sisters.
Just as our founders did in 1874, Gamma Phi Beta women strive to uphold the highest type of womanhood. We value the individual worth and contribution of each member. We value academic achievement and personal development. We encourage our members to build mentally and physically strong girls through our partnership with Girls on the Run. Most of all, we are loyal to one another and our values as a Gamma Phi Beta woman.
Alumnae, fellow sisters, and seeking members, I invite you to explore the website and seek out what this sisterhood means to each of us. I hope you find just as much joy in this organization as I do. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Gamma Phi Beta is always here for you.
Love in IIKE,
